A Peer Place Inc. is a nonprofit organization focused on promoting literacy and learning among children and families in underserved communities. Our holistic programs cultivate academic skills, personal growth, and confidence through engaging activities and strong mentorship.

Our Programs & Services
We offer high-impact programming, including CDF Freedom Schools summer camps, after-school literacy labs, and family-focused learning sessions, all designed to enhance reading, writing, and critical thinking within a nurturing environment.
CDF Freedom Schools Summer Program
A culturally responsive, six-week summer program that boosts literacy skills, leadership, and self-esteem through a fun, educational curriculum and mentorship.
Family Learning Sessions
Interactive workshops that empower families with tools and strategies to support children’s learning and strengthen connections between home and school.
After-School Literacy Labs
Hands-on after-school sessions focused on reading, writing, and communication skill-building, with dedicated tutors and engaging, evidence-based activities.
